Morning, loves! Time for part II of my FW15/16 press days experience. To look back at part I real quick: we had blanket coats, suit pants, skirts in all their glory, some accessories and a few summer trends. Part II will mainly be about statement pieces in the clothing department, and shoes of course. Both things we all love to buy to lock in a look and own it. Right?!
The last couple of seasons we had tons of ways to add some spice to our outfits. We had sequins that seemed to fall out of the sky everywhere (in all possible colors!) attaching themselves to the first clothing piece they came across. We had the (faux) fur trend making a serious re-entrance (the bigger the better) and we had metallic pieces running the world. Put all those things together and I’m sure you’ll end up looking like a stripper with bad taste. So a quick lesson in between: keep it to one or maximum two statement pieces and tone down the rest of your look.
Anyway, next Fall/Winter we will still see all of the above but either in a more evolved graphical way or the complete opposite, being in a very subtle elegant way.

ONE LEVEL DOWN
It’s not because flats are currently trending (and they will be for a while), that it means you have to wear boring shoes. Think bold prints, lots of bright colors or sweet pastels, like I spotted at Flossy or metallic eye catchers like seen at Keds.

BECAUSE GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN…
Obviously I also spotted a couple of items I just really liked because they are fun. And because we all just wanna have fun, allow me to share a couple of those items as well and let’s hope you like them as much as I do. ^^
These Moon Boots are just adorable. I bet my feet would look like two tiny little sausages. Nice, comfy hot sausages of courses.
Cute coffee mugs at Wander & Co, yummy cupcakes with ‘neuzekes’, brownies and fun interiors #funfunfun
I hope you enjoyed reading my press days posts and that you were able to get a better view on some of the trends to come. It’s the perfect excuse to buy those new sneakers you really wanted, that leather plated skirt or that comfortable oversized blanket coat. ;)
Wanna see more upcoming trends? Make sure to check out part I.
