AurélieIt was about time! Citizens of Ghent, a bunch load of bloggers/press and a handful of unlucky boyfriends that were forced to come along, gathered pour le moment suprême. The opening of Primark in the centre of the historical and stunning Ghent! My hometown and the place that has my heart. (How poetic of me.) I got invited to go and have a sneak peek of the store, the new collections and to be part of the first few to actually buy something before the actual opening. #awesome I mean, if I would spot something that I wanted of course.

This moment right here is when I got a home orgasm horgasme. Okay, that sounds way more nasty than intended. Anyway, home stuff. With the place we bought, I’ve been doing some serious home research and making wish lists. And damn I saw some cute things here. But I was strong, we will only be able to move in at the end of next year, so no point in buying tons of new stuff already right. Right?! 
ABOUT THE STORE
The store itself is located in a renovated building at the corner of the Langemunt and the Vrijdagsmark in Ghent (did I already mention my boyfriend works super close to it?! #ohooh). With its 4500m2 there is plenty of room for a women’s department including accessories, shoes (tons of shoes), beauty and sportswear. And if you thought that would fill up everything, joke’s on you. There’s also a large area filled with men stuff, kids items that are way too adorable and best of all, a home department. Ding, ding, ding – we have a winner!
Of course I couldn’t leave empty-handed!! To quote Uma Thurman and Penélope Cruz in the Schweppes commercial:

You can find Primark Ghent @ the corner of the Langemunt and Vrijdagsmarkt. It’s open everyday from 9AM to 7PM and on Friday even until 8PM. A luxury over here that a store is open that long! #ProtectThoseWallets
