Imagine beautiful clothes, lovely store owners and a wonderful intimate atmosphere. That’s how I can best describe this new boutique called MOOI! that just opened its doors in Eeklo.
All clothes you can find in this local and cozy store are designed by Belgian talent. A pretty rare concept in Belgium, which is also why it’s so awesome. (We Belgians have the intention to feel very patriotic once in a while you know.)
A GLIMPSE OF THE STORE
I was invited to come to the opening (yay!) so with my camera in one hand and my purse in the other, I was ready to discover the latest collection from Belgian designers and meet some new people. A few of the designers were even present. How cool is that! Being able to actually ask the brains behind the collection were they got their inspiration from and how it all started…
The owners, Anja & Véronique, are two sisters who started this challenge together and I have to say, I envy them. Chasing there dreams and goals like that. (They’re wearing items from Jo Devisscher‘s, Hunger for Freedom collection.)
They have gift vouchers people! (Whoop Whoop!)
Jewelry of Elisa Lee. I have fallen in love with this brand (especially the minimalistic bracelets and necklaces) ever since I discovered it during the Pressdays at Oona PR.
Another item of Elisa Lee (isn’t Valentine coming soon?! ^^). Pretty pretty!
Hanne, the partner in crime of Roos Vandekerckhove. Loved to see how they added many colors to their collection. The weather is already grey enough right!
Miss Jo De Visscher herself. She also opened her own flagship store in Ghent btw. Hoornstraat is the place to be (side street of the Veldstraat).
How adorable is this print on the Magdalena dress?!
Big plus: MOOI! also has a men corner. Perfect for the boyfriend/men who we always drag along. I’m sure they won’t mind if you try out ten different outfits.
Thanks again for the invite Véronique & Anja. The store looks truly great. Marlies, Natasje, Karlien, Inez and Lyn, it was great meeting you guys!
