Talk about a show! Beautiful clothes with even more beautiful hairstyles. Coif/Life presented three new collections in The Egg Brussels last weekend. Each and every one of them couldn’t be more different from one another. But they were all amazing. Curious about the event and the different creations? Scroll down!

1374042_631757523543848_54077104_nThe evening started with a reception to mingle and get to know new people. And to get those appetizer in our belly of course. ;-)

The evening wasn’t just about presenting hairstyles though. We could see them come alive. Live on stage. From up close! So crazy what these people could do in such a short period of time! I have some strange hairdresser phobia, but those people can cut my hair any day!

As mentioned before there were three collections.

First up was “Enfances” and “Styles” which were the themes that Robby Osselaer worked out. “Enfances” refers to things that make you spontaneously think of your childhood, with color and creativity as a guide. While “Styles” revolves around the classics of the past, with references to the timeless fashion from the fifties and sixties. Robby mixed the two themes into one perfect match.

Next up was Bruno Lefebvre that really gave shape to the concept of “archaism“. An ode to the raw beauty of nature. It had a very high Scandinavian fairytale factor and was my favorite! Ever since I went to go study in Finland for about five months and took advantage of being there by going to a lot of the surrounding countries, I have a soft spot for these northern vibes.

The last collection was brought to us by Jean-Luc Savagan with “Illuminations“. A trend that revolves around architectural shapes and playing with light, shadow and reflection. A bit of New Gothic, as he mentioned during the show. I really loved the combination of the hairstyles with the clothes. There is something about those darkness trends that draws me. ;-)

Also during this show, two girls got a brand new hairstyle life on the stage. A bit patriotic with the Belgian colors, but nothing wrong with that right? ;-)

After this amazing show, it was time to eat. Hellooo delicious food! The evening ended what a big party with DJ Roma.
