I mentioned something in my previous travel post about some of the most beautiful pictures I ever took. Well, I wasn’t lying. Although all credit goes to this place, I merely captured it on film. Are you ready for some dreamy pics?! Yes? Here it goes.
DAY 4: SAONA ISLAND
At day 4 of our stay in the Dominican Republic we went to an island called Saona Island. The biggest part of this area is a protected nature reserve and it’s also the island they used for the Bounty commercials! (Remember?) How cool is that. We spent the entire day at this place swimming, snorkeling, visiting some locals and eating the most delicious lobster every. This place is perfect to be officially off the grid and just enjoy the moment. #noInstagram
With three small motorboats we went to the southern part of the island. You pay a little extra for this side but this way, you go to a part where you’re not overwhelmed by tourists and you get to meet some of the real locals. The island has about 200-300 of them scattered around. Really worth a visit! Like really.
Isn’t this the cutest little dude ever?!
These people might not have much, they do have some pretty amazing food.
This was heading to a Robinson Island situation. Me, myself and my dog.
Yup, bad reception as well.
FAVORITE PICTURE OF THE TRIP
