Last week I was invited to join a gift wrapping workshop with bagels, hot drinks and pie at Kaffee Barnini organised by Benetton. Uuh hello, can it get any better? Yes! Put two Melo Cakes on top of those hot drinks and it just got better. Bam! The creative artist in me (ahum) couldn’t wait to start wrapping and decorating.
And with the tips and tools Yvonne Eijkenduijn provided, we were like little kids in our first art class. I’ve always liked the wrapping part more than actually open presents, as a kid I was even more intrigued by the boxes my gifts came in than the actual content. I always ended up making a house out of it for my cat (or myself depending on the size of the box). Oh the joy.
During the weekend, I continued the creative mood and made a couple of more gifts ready for Christmas. Here you see them all from up close:
How are you’re wrapping skills? Is it something you enjoy doing or is it something you pass on to your mom?
