What can I say, the boyfriend and I, we both love New York. Heck, if we would have the budget, we would love to live there for a year or two. Really discovering everything there is to discover and getting to know the city like true locals.
New York | My Guide To-poster
When I spotted this New York poster, it was an instant hit. Even the boyfriend loved it right away! A minimalistic yet very on-point design of a city we both love. And more than enough white space to compensate for the black lines ^^ (we don’t want too much black in our interior). No words needed, but it instantly ended up on my little list I like to call the ‘Design gifts‘ wishlist. Because yes, this poster designed by David Ehrenstråhle and part of the Ehrenstråhle & Wågnert brand is a pretty limited edition with interesting spots to visit… only 2500 pieces are created per year and each one of them is marked with a authenticity seal, number and signature.
So, when we got the keys to our apartment, this beauty got claimed and ended up at our doorsteps last week. The premium quality, the impressive size and the beautiful feel to the paper, made us all enthusiastic. For just a minute, we forgot the fact that we still had plenty of work to do in our home before we can actually start hanging frames, but hello: L.I.M.I.T.E.D E.D.I.T.I.O.N. I wasn’t gonna risk it. ^^ This poster was just made for our small yet cozy apartment. Now there’s only one big question: where to hang this beauty in our home? Sometimes you just have of those items that look perfect everywhere you put them.
