I’m always playing catch-up when it comes to make-up, so I thought it was about time to buy myself one of those BB creams. I have quite a sensitive skin which is also the biggest reason I never use foundation or anything like it. Agh, I dream about a skin as smooth as a baby’s butt, but we take what we get. ;-)
BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector by Garnier
I decided to try out the BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector by Garnier. (Sounds promising doesn’t it!?) This type is made for a combination skin and oily skin which is exactly what I need.
The first time I used it, I was positively surprised. I didn’t have the feeling I was wearing some kind of mask and my skin could still breath. (I think I have some strange type of claustrophobia. On skin level.) It also blurs imperfections, makes the skin look smoother and moisturizes it at the same time. I also love the fact that it protects your skin against the sun (SPF 20). But the best thing about it is definitely the fact that it mattifies! (Victory!)
So far I haven’t noticed any extra skin trouble from using this. If this would change, the next BB cream I’ll give a try is BB cream Bioderma Sensibo. Made for a troubled sensitive skin that suffers from pimples and redness.
anti-shine purifyng cleaning gel by Biotherm
The second product is an anti-shine purifyng cleaning gel by Biotherm for normal to oily skin. This product was actually a little gift/souvenir from my boyfriend who went abroad for a week. I couldn’t be happier with it, as it sounds perfect for my skin. He really does know me. :-)
In the meanwhile I’ve been using it for about two weeks and I do like it more than the usual cleaning gel I use (prescribed by my dermetalog) Keracnyl by Ducray. It has a very nice refreshing scent, makes my skin feel smooth after washing and keeps it matt for about 4-5 hours. It’s not the 8 hours they promise, but it’s still a lot better than what I’m used too.
Do you have any experience with one of these products?
