Diamonds are a girl’s best friend? I’m not fooled … they’re basically just a very hard rock. Shiny, okay sure. And very pretty, yes. With all those colors that force you to keep staring at it like you’d do at a clear night sky; floating off into endless dreams… Feeling like you’re in diamond heaven.Okay sorry, I got distracted there for a second (damn you pretty diamonds!) But back to the point I was trying to make. What’s so special about having a rock around your finger or in your ears, if you could have little pieces or art instead?

Elisabeth Leenknegt is one of those people that think like that. Her work is definitely not new to me. And my regular readers will have seen her passing by already a couple of times on the blog (here and here). So yes I admit, I have a little weak spot for these little pieces of art. (For those who don’t know Elisa Lee: she’s a Belgian jewelry designer who you should keep your eye on.) This time, not really pictures of her work but pictures of where everything comes alive.
